BC Football - Interesting Email

Dear Edward:

We appreciate your perfect attendance at our home games during the 2012 football season. Not only did you attend every game, you were in the stadium before kickoff to support our team. Very impressive!

BC Football - Game Day Changes - Very Positive

Dear Edward Taylor,

As a Boston College football season ticket holder, you play a vital role in the success of our program.  We cannot wait to see you back in Alumni Stadium this fall, and it’s time to take the first step.  Online renewals will begin today through the Athletics website, Paper renewals will be coming in the mail in a few weeks.

Our goal is to create the best gameday experience in the ACC.  Based on feedback from season ticketholders who attended two “town hall” style meetings and more than 1,400 responses to a follow-up survey, we will be implementing changes and additions in gameday parking, game atmosphere and customer service.  This initiative, themed “You’re No. 1”, is intended to send a message to you and all our Eagle fans – you spoke, we listened.

Ticket prices are unchanged from 2012 season rates and BC has added affordable parking options on the lower Brighton campus ($150 for a season pass).  In addition, fans will be able to purchase multiple parking passes and GOLD alumni (alums from the last 10 years) members can pool their gifts to obtain parking passes.

These changes and additions are just the beginning; there’s more work to be done.  In the coming months, we will continue to make changes and exciting new additions to our gameday offerings.

Thank you for your continued support of Boston College football.  We look forward to seeing you in Alumni Stadium this fall.  If we may be of assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Jack Parker

You've got to give him his due.  He was a great coach who accomplished much at BU.   I am not sure that the BC vs BU rivalry will ever be the same.
